Facts About Galloway Cattle
- They produce a naturally lean meat with a high Omega3 content.
- Their meat has been proven to be as healthy for the heart and brain as chicken or fish.
- Their long winter coat greatly reduces the amount of back fat that they need to keep
out the cold. They store most of their fat as “marbling” throughout the meat.
This gives Galloway beef a distinctive eating quality - lean, yet
exceptionally juicy, flavorful, and tender.
- They are good mothers with rich milk, giving strong healthy calves.
- They were bred to thrive as grazers on natural pastures.
